Gallagher Security revolutionises the training environment with the launch of Augmented Reality Training in Australia

Award-winning global security manufacturer, Gallagher Security, has announced the latest addition to their innovative suite of training solutions, Augmented Reality Training.

Launching in Australia recently, Gallagher demonstrates their continued commitment to innovation and improving access to security training opportunities. Partnering with Altoura, a leader in immersive training platforms, Gallagher's first Augmented Reality training environment is the Perimeter Fence Installer Course, which combines cutting-edge technology with Gallaghers leading perimeter security solutions.

Gallagher Security Australia, Training Solutions Engineer, Kirk Jarvis says,Our

foray into learning through an Augmented Reality environment will revolutionise how our Channel Partners interact with our pulsed perimeter product. We will be taking them on an immersive adventure into all things Pulsed Perimeter, from the comfort of their office or home. The significant benefits to our Channel Partners include real-time guidance, reduced downtime, while negating the need to travel into training facilities.

Bennie Pienaar, Gallagher Security Australia, Senior Training Engineer adds,With

the successful creation of the Pulse Perimeter Fence training in the Augmented Reality environment, we set a firm foundation for developing more AR training in Gallagher's other training verticals. The module is developed to experience practical Pulse Perimeter fence construction and configuration, while learning the Gallagher fundamentals required to build a Pulse Perimeter fence.

Following on from Gallaghers Virtual Classroom launched in 2023, Augmented Reality Training demonstrates Gallaghers continued evolution in the training space, providing improved access and hands-on training to their Channel Partners across the globe.

Work began in mid-2023 with the Gallagher training team identifying the Perimeter course as the first to be developed. While Gallaghers Virtual Classroom enabled Channel Partners to access trainer-led courses remotely, reliance on trainer travel and kit movement proved a barrier in meeting the growing demand for perimeter training
