Ltd. ("1st ASSET", "we", "us", or "the Company"), a company registered under the laws of India with its registered office at "Security House", 24-B Udyog Vihar – V, Gurugram – 122026, Haryana, India.

By accessing our Website, subscribing to our publications, registering for our events, or otherwise using our services, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Website or services.

1. About SECURITY TODAY

SECURITY TODAY is India's award-winning monthly publication serving the security and safety industry. It is published by 1st ASSET and covers news, analysis, interviews, and insights relevant to physical security, electronic surveillance, cybersecurity, and related domains. 1st ASSET also organises events including the Knowledge Summit and the Top Indian Women Influencers & Initiatives in Safety & Security (TIWIIS) programme.

2. Access to the Website

2.1 General Access

Access to the public areas of the Website is free of charge. However, certain content, archives, and premium features are accessible only to registered users or paid subscribers. 1st ASSET reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Website or its services at any time without notice.

2.2 Registered Accounts

To access subscriber-only content or to subscribe to our publications, you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

3. Subscriptions and Digital Products

3.1 Subscription Plans

SECURITY TODAY is available as a print subscription, digital subscription, or combined subscription. Current subscription plans, pricing in Indian Rupees (INR), and delivery terms are set out on the subscription page at www.securitytoday.in/subscribe/. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Payment

Payment for subscriptions must be made in advance. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout. Your payment details will be verified before your subscription is activated. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order.

3.3 Billing and Auto-Renewal

For recurring digital subscriptions, you will be billed at the frequency stated at the time of purchase (monthly or annually). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. We will not provide advance notice of automatic renewal. Please review your billing cycle at the time of subscription.

3.4 Price Changes

1st ASSET reserves the right to revise subscription prices at any time. Where the regular price of a subscription changes, we will notify you in advance, and you will have the opportunity to accept the new price or cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

3.5 Promotions and Discounts

Promotional offers and discounted rates are subject to specific terms stated at the time of the promotion. Promotions cannot be combined. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively. At the end of any promotional period, your subscription will automatically convert to the standard paid plan at the then-current price unless you cancel beforehand.

3.6 Third-Party Purchases

If you have acquired a SECURITY TODAY subscription through a third-party platform or reseller, these Terms may not apply in full to that purchase. Please refer to the terms of the third party concerned. 1st ASSET is not liable for claims arising from third-party transactions.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Requests for cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy available at www.securitytoday.in/refund-policy/. In general:

All charges are non-refundable unless expressly provided for in the Refund Policy.
Cancellation of a digital subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to subscriber content until the end of that period.
If your initial payment authorisation is later revoked or a charge is disputed without valid reason, your subscription will be suspended or terminated, and you will remain liable for all charges incurred.
You are responsible for all costs incurred in connection with the collection of unpaid amounts, including reasonable legal and collection costs.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

All content on this Website and in SECURITY TODAY publications — including but not limited to articles, news reports, interviews, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, layout designs, databases, and event materials — is owned by or licensed to 1st ASSET and is protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

5.2 Permitted Use

You may access and view content on this Website for your personal, non-commercial, informational use only. You may share individual article links on social media or with colleagues. You may not, without prior written permission from 1st ASSET:

6. User Conduct

1st ASSET organises industry events including the Knowledge Summit and TIWIIS. The following terms apply to event participation:

Registration for paid events constitutes a binding commitment to pay the applicable registration fee.
Event cancellation and substitution policies will be communicated at the time of registration and in event-specific terms.
1st ASSET reserves the right to alter event programmes, speakers, dates, or formats, including transition to a virtual or hybrid format, where circumstances require.
Photography, video recording, and audio recording at events may be carried out by 1st ASSET. By attending an event, you consent to the use of your image and voice for editorial, promotional, and archival purposes by 1st ASSET.
Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. 1st ASSET reserves the right to remove from any event, without refund, any individual whose conduct is deemed disruptive or inappropriate.
